Prof. Dr. Ing. Saskia Schwermann is part of the LABi³-project lead team.

She teaches dairy technology and plant design and is the head of the dairy technology centre in the department of bioprocess engineering. Her research focuses on energy-saving processes in the field of high concentration of skimmed milk via an innovative membrane cascade.

She supports the internationalisation efforts of her faculty as international coordinator.

Prof. Dr. Anne Nadolny is part of the LABi³-project lead team.

She teaches environmental and bioprocess engineering and works with university partners on the topics of circular economy in the field of environmental technology. She is involved in several projects on the topic of interdisciplinary teaching.

Prof. Nadolny supports the internationalisation efforts of her faculty as international coordinator of her department.

Dirk Hoffmann coordinates the international and collaborative development of English teaching modules on the topic of sustainable circular economy. His special focus lies on the establishment of digital learning formats, including technical equipment and interactive software solutions, to bring international and German students and teachers together.

He works supportively with Heidrun Schmidt on LABi³ mobilities.

Dr. Heidrun Schmidt, mathematician and teacher of German as a foreign language, catering to her international side as responsible for all LABi³ mobilities to and from our partner universities.

Originally interested in zero waste perspective, she came to circular economy as an innovative form of business inspired by Michael Braungart’s approach.

Intercultural processes are her specialty, in which she uses her teaching and her sketchnoting skills to explain and unite different cultures.
