The rapid prototyping workshop and the laser cutter can be used by any student without special knowledge. We will advise you on your plans, provide information about the process and production and show you how to use the workshops and machines. We are also happy to help you with the creation of printable data, data for the laser cutter or similar.
Together with you, we will produce your prototype, your idea, your model. We will be happy to accompany you from the first stroke to the final touch. If you have any questions, please send an email to the workshop management.
We look forward to seeing you.
Monday to Wednesday: 10:00 - 17:00
All other days by arrangement
In the 3D printing and RP workshop, you can have parts 3D printed, laser cut or CNC milled. We accompany you throughout the entire project and support you in the production of your model. We try to let you do as much as possible yourself and help you if you get stuck.
In the workshop you can print objects on two FDM printers, one plaster printer and one MJP printer. With a 90W CO2 laser we can cut or engrave different materials. With the CNC milling machine we can produce durable and large parts.
Important for all materials, especially for the laser cutter and the CNC milling machine, come to us and talk to us about your project. Some materials are more difficult to process than others. However, there are good substitutes for these. Talk to us and we will be happy to advise you.
FDM printer (Prusa i3 MK3S+)
Installation space 250×210×210 mm
All FDM printable plastics

z-Printer (ProJet CJP 660Pro)
Installation space 254 x 381 x 203 mm
White gypsum powder printed through clear adhesive. We only print monochrome in white. Parts are infiltrated after printing for more durability.

MJP printer (ProJet MJP 3600max)
Installation space 203 mm x 178 mm x 203 mm
Printing of synthetic resin (VisiJet M3 Crystal) which hardens under UV light. The process allows ultra-fine details to be printed. The support material is melted off in an oven at 65°C.

Laser cutter
In the laser cutter we can cut the following materials: Solid wood, or wood composite as a board up to a thickness of 8mm Plastics up to a thickness of 10mm, fabrics (natural or synthetic fibre).
In the laser cutter we can engrave the following materials:
All the above materials, whereby the thickness is irrelevant. We can also engrave metals, but not cut them. We cannot process fibre composites (GFK / CFK).
CNC milling machine
We work with a 3+2 axis milling machine from BZT. This can process almost all materials. Please contact us directly if you have a project that requires the use of a CNC milling machine.

The height may vary as this is determined by the geometry to be machined.
It's best to make an appointment by email. Then we know that you are coming and we have enough time for you.
Before the appointment, you should already have your own idea of how you want to build your model. Then we have a basis on which we can talk to you. Be sure to come even if you have never done all this before. We will help you every step of the way and work out the whole project together with you.
Instructions for the individual procedures can be found in front of each workshop. These will also be available online in the near future.
