In the President's Office, we support the central bodies and committees of the university, prepare meetings before and after and are available to you as a contact to the members of the Executive Board (to the pages of the Executive Board).
The Occupational Health and Safety Department of the Hochschule Hannover - Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the point of contact for all questions relating to occupational health and safety.
The safety engineers and occupational safety specialists advise and support in particular the university management, specialists in the faculties and organisational units as well as employees and interest groups in all questions of occupational safety and health protection.
The safety engineers maintain contact with external offices and supervisory authorities (trade supervisory authority, state accident insurance fund, professional fire brigade, etc.) and coordinate cooperation with the company doctors of the external occupational health service MEDITÜV.
In addition, the occupational safety department provides support in the form of services, particularly in the areas of initial and continuing education, instruction and the performance of workplace-related measurements (noise, lighting, indoor climate).

Auditing provides the Executive Board with information on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system and risk management, as well as the quality and fulfilment of the specified tasks and objectives. It also supports managers and working professionals in the faculties, institutes, departments or facilities to be advised and audited in their work.
The audit also ensures compliance with the principles of economy and efficiency. It is a targeted instrument of action for the university management as part of an entrepreneurial monitoring concept and provides preparatory support for the auditors of the annual financial statements and other external auditing bodies.
