Required application documents

The application process is entirely paperless. All documents must be uploaded digitally via the application portal.

Please ensure that all your supporting documents have been uploaded in full. Any requests for additional documents or notifications regarding missing documents will also be sent directly via the application portal. You should therefore check your portal regularly so as not to miss any information.

Please have the following documents ready for your online application and subsequent enrolment:

1. Academic qualifications

• Copy of your university entrance qualification (e.g. A-levels or university entrance qualification*)
• Where applicable, proof of special artistic aptitude (only for art-related degree programmes)

2. Professional & Personal

• Copies of completed work placements and, where applicable, a completed vocational training qualification
• Training contract (only for Production Engineering, Design Engineering, Integrated Media & Communication, and Dual Industrial Electrical Engineering)
• Where applicable, certificate of military, civilian or federal voluntary service
• A tabular, complete CV
• Birth certificate or copy of ID card (front and back)

3. Study-related documents

• Evidence of previous periods of study (including leave of absence semesters, certificates of enrolment or withdrawal)
• Where applicable, further evidence as per the admission regulations, e.g. pre-study placement

*If you hold a university entrance qualification, we require both the academic and practical components. Full recognition must be received by the start of the semester (1 March or 1 September) at the latest.
