We are pleased that you have decided to study at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HsH). Here you can find out how to apply and what you should keep in mind when doing so.

Please note the application deadlines for the individual degree programs, as some begin in the summer semester and others exclusively in the winter semester. Additionally, various degree programs have separate application deadline.

New starting in the 2026/27 winter semester: The application deadline for programs with no admission restrictions has been extended through September 15.

Before applying for a spot in a program, you should familiarize yourself with the admission regulations for the respective program to verify that you meet the admission requirements.

You can find the admission regulations for your desired program on the website of the respective faculty under your desired program as well as on the Laws and Ordinances page.

 

 

Application for the first semester of the 2026/27 winter semester

Dear Prospective Students,

The application portal for the 2026/27 winter semester (starting September 1, 2026) is now open.

You can find the exact application period under “Special Features and Deadlines.” The page “Overview of Programs Offered” also provides a quick overview of all programs offered at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts for the 2026/27 winter semester.

Faculty III:

The dual Bachelor’s program in Integrated Media and Communication (IMC dual) will be activated in the application portal on July 1, 2026. Further information can be found here>>>

 

New program offerings for the 2026/27 winter semester:

Faculty V:

Offering for the first time the part-time master’s program in Advanced Nursing Practice / Community Health Nursing.

Further information on the application process:

The application process is conducted entirely paperless. All documents must be uploaded digitally via the application portal. Please ensure that all your supporting documents are uploaded in full. Requests for additional documents or notifications regarding missing documents will also be sent directly through the application portal. Therefore, please check your portal regularly so you don’t miss any information.

Admission to all degree programs is handled exclusively through the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover’s application portal. Registration via Hochschulstart is not required.

Mon–Thu from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
