For start-up projects involving an innovative technology-oriented or knowledge-based idea with significant unique selling points and good economic prospects of success, you can apply together with us for the EXIST start-up grant, which will provide you with a living for one year. We accompany you both during the application process and during the funding period. We help you with the preparation of the idea paper, support you in finding mentors, provide you with a free workplace, allow you to use the university infrastructure free of charge, offer you access to our startup network and administer the funding.

If you have a team of researchers with research results that have the potential to form the basis of a business start-up, with our help, you can apply for EXIST Research Transfer for you and two other scientists or technical assistants as well as a person with business management skills. The grant will cover your living expenses for up to 18 months and enable you to hire staff and assistants with a total value of up to €250,000.
