Information on applying for a Master’s degree

Dear prospective students,

The application portal for the 2026/27 winter semester (starting 1 September 2026) is now open.

You can apply online for all degree programmes. Please view the overview of degree programmes on offer for the 2026/27 winter semester to find your desired Master’s programme and the relevant faculty.

Before you begin the application process, please read the instructions for Master’s applications carefully. You may then submit your application.

New programme on offer for the 2026/27 winter semester:

The Department of Nursing and Health in Faculty V is offering the part-time Master’s programme in Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP)/Community Health Nursing (CHN) for the first time.

The application process is entirely paperless. All documents must be uploaded digitally via the application portal. Please ensure that all required documents are uploaded in full. Requests for additional documents or notifications regarding missing documents will also be sent directly through the application portal. Therefore, please check your portal regularly to ensure you do not miss any important information.

Please note the application deadlines for the individual programmes, as some start in the summer semester and others exclusively in the winter semester. Furthermore, various programmes have separate application deadlines.

Guidance on Master’s applications

It is possible to apply for two Master’s programmes. Please note the following:

  • You can only submit one application form. This should therefore be your first choice.
  • The second application can be set to ‘Pending’.
  • To activate this application, please send a message to the Info-Point team stating that the second application is to be submitted.
  • You must then submit your documents separately for each application.

If you are offered a place on both programmes, you must choose one and can therefore only apply for enrolment online for that programme.
