Objectives and contents

The aim of the Master's degree course is to prepare students for management tasks in the functional areas of a company and to provide them with in-depth skills in the areas of special process engineering, the future structuring of a laboratory, modern food analysis and the management of a company. In addition, students are taught the necessary knowledge, skills and methods in such a way that they can methodically and independently develop further knowledge at any time on a scientific basis and use it in an application-oriented manner.Graduates can relate results and facts to each other and structure them in such a way that connections can be recognised.

Projects integrated into the degree course and the Master's thesis aim to promote interdisciplinary thinking and social competence. The degree course enables students to independently expand already acquired knowledge and to put it into practice in a problem-oriented manner.

 

Course progression

The degree course initially comprises two semesters of lectures at the university.In seminars, lectures and projects, you apply theoretical expertise to examples from business practice.The third semester is available for the Master's thesis in combination with a practical phase (in a national or international environment).
